Our Story

Every great business begins with a dream — and ours started with a vision called Calm & Curious: The Sensory Nest.

We imagined an inclusive sensory play centre where children of all abilities could explore, learn, and feel completely at home. While the centre never fully launched and is currently on hold, the heart of that idea has never left us. It’s the spark that inspired everything we do today.

From that dream, Imagine Play Events was born. We realised families didn’t just want a special place to go — they wanted the magic of sensory-rich, play-filled experiences brought straight to them. So we set out to create celebrations that capture the wonder of play wherever families gather.

Now, Imagine Play Events brings joy to birthdays, weddings, christenings, and community days with experiences designed to delight:
