Refund Policy
At Imagine Play Events, we pride ourselves on creating celebrations that feel like glitter in motion and joy in full bloom. To keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes, the following refund policy applies to all bookings, hires, and services.
Booking Deposits
A non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your date and equipment.
Once paid, this deposit locks in your session, your hire items, and our time. Because we reserve equipment and staff exclusively for your booking, deposits cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking:

More than 7 days before your event:
Any amount paid beyond the non-refundable deposit can be refunded or transferred to a new booking date (subject to availability). -
Less than 7 days before your event:
All payments made are non-refundable. You may transfer your booking to a new available date within 3 months if requested at least 48 hours prior to your event. -
Within 48 hours of your event:
No refunds or transfers are available as equipment and staffing have already been allocated.
Balance Payments
Full payment is required 48 hours before the event date (unless organised differently).
If payment is not made, Imagine Play Events reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.
Security Bonds
Security bonds are refunded within 7 days of equipment return, pending inspection.
Damage, excessive cleaning, missing items, or misuse will be deducted from the bond.
If You Choose to Cancel Due to Weather
If you choose to cancel instead of rescheduling:

The booking deposit remains non-refundable.

Any remaining balance (excluding the deposit) can be refunded if cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the event.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice cannot be refunded as the equipment has already been prepared for dispatch.
If Imagine Play Events Cancels Due to Safety
If we determine conditions are not safe for equipment setup:

You may reschedule at no charge
OR -
Receive a refund for any monies paid - this is the only instance where the booking deposit will be refunded.
